Dear Parents

What a wonderful week to finish my first year as Head of this very special school.  We were blessed with lovely weather not only for Sports Day but also Hunstanton.

Sports Day

It was lovely to be able to use the Severals for Sports Day and that so many of you came to support your children.  We were all impressed at the sportsmanship and determination of the children and equally by you their parents in the final relay.  The Pimms, strawberries and ice creams seemed a fitting end to a wonderful afternoon.

Our particular thanks to Mr Smith, Lily and Molly’s father, who kindly lent us the generator and helped dismantle the equipment in record time!

Hunstanton

Our annual trip to Hunstanton, for all bar the very youngest members of the school, was an undoubted success.  The weather was just right, not too hot and with a fresh sea breeze  It was lovely watching the children entertain themselves in so many different ways in the sand dunes.  Holes were dug, sandcastles and mermaid made, impromptu football and rounders matchers played and much leaping off sand dunes by all!  Years 5 and 6 were granted the special privilege of paddling in the sea and a terrific water fight ensued!
