Dear Parents

What a wonderful week to finish my first year as Head of this very special school.  We were blessed with lovely weather not only for Sports Day but also Hunstanton.

Sports Day

It was lovely to be able to use the Severals for Sports Day and that so many of you came to support your children.  We were all impressed at the sportsmanship and determination of the children and equally by you their parents in the final relay.  The Pimms, strawberries and ice creams seemed a fitting end to a wonderful afternoon.

Our particular thanks to Mr Smith, Lily and Molly’s father, who kindly lent us the generator and helped dismantle the equipment in record time!

Sports Day 2 Sports Day 3

Our annual trip to Hunstanton, for all bar the very youngest members of the school, was an undoubted success.  The weather was just right, not too hot and with a fresh sea breeze  It was lovely watching the children entertain themselves in so many different ways in the sand dunes.  Holes were dug, sandcastles and mermaid made, impromptu football and rounders matchers played and much leaping off sand dunes by all!  Years 5 and 6 were granted the special privilege of paddling in the sea and a terrific water fight ensued!

Holiday Club

Many of you have already booked into this Club; however, there are spaces available.  Please e-mail  Siblings and friends are all very welcome.  Children may bring their bicycles and scooters to enjoy using in the grounds.

Parents’ Information Booklets

This booklet will be sent to you shortly with all the necessary information required for the next school year, including uniform list.  Please note that girls may start the Michaelmas Term in either summer dress or winter uniform.

Many thanks for your kind words and support over the year and I hope that you and your children have a wonderful summer holiday.  My colleagues and I look forward to seeing you all refreshed and ready for the term ahead on Tuesday 6th September.

With my best wishes,

Lynda Brereton
